If you love nature and appreciate mountains and rivers, this short eco tour is for you. Modern urban life can leave us jaded and this hassle free holiday with short walks will allow you to re-connect with nature while you let us take care of the details.

Imagine immersing yourself in the natural environment, sitting quietly as water tumbles over a waterfall and bounces off rocks below or maybe watching a pair of eagles soaring high above you.

Trees can be inspiring and Spring brings a wonderful array of wildflowers. There will be birdsong to listen to by day and quiet nights often filled with star-filled skies.  Does this sound like what you need to reinvigorate and re-charge you?

The itinerary can be flexible with walks that vary from easy to moderate taking in the Snowy River itself, lookouts over Gorge scenes and waterfalls or along tracks through interesting forest or woodland.  Wildlife sightings and birds are a regular joy and we stop to appreciate the little things in nature too.

(If you are particularly keen on bird watching I suggest you consider Birds of the Snowy River which is a dedicated birdwatching tour to the same area)

Your local guide not only knows the best places to visit, but will share a great love of the mountains, the flora and fauna plus and an insight into the history.

Every night we stay in cosy accommodation and yes, meals are included, so what could be easier?

Note that this tour mostly visits areas that were NOT affected by summer19/20 bushfires, so the scenery is as beautiful as ever. We will pass through some burnt country, but we will also be able to help local economies recover by supporting local businesses.

This tour is available on demand most months of the year.

Comments and stories

This trip was exactly what I needed, we would have tried to pack too much into a holiday and wound up over tired and more stressed at the end.  The accommodation was wonderful, the walking perfect.  Good talks throughout, delivered in a clear and interesting manner. The whole trip was kept relaxed which was exactly what we wanted.  Thank you so very much for all the wonderful sights and sounds of this beautiful part of the world.
